A group of concerned Bainbridge citizens under the banner “Standing Together” are planning a town hall rally for democracy on June 7 at 12:00 to 2:30 pm at the Lynwood Theater on Bainbridge Island. The event will feature elected officials, nonprofit leaders, and artists speaking about what they and their organizations are doing to support our community and work toward a more resilient democracy and more importantly to discuss what actions we can take individually and collectively. We are hoping to build a strong sense of democratic community and unity of purpose on Bainbridge Island and throughout Kitsap County through education, advocacy, and compassion and support individual resiliency.
