Hi all,
Please join us to get our “marching orders” to make sure we keep our Democratic majority in the state senate and state house. We will be voting on possible endorsements for Sheriff John Gese and PUD Commissioner Debra Lester plus approvals for Leiyomi Preciado and Katie Walters for County Commissioner #3. Candidates running for office will have time to make their statements should they wish to do so. We will also have time for the membership to engage in discussion groups on various aspects of campaign work ranging from issues to use of digital communication. Please come and share your thoughts and energy – you are wanted
All of our candidates have multiple challengers and we must make sure they get through the primary. If you are able to help out in any way, please contact Laurie and Cam who head up our PCO committee and Carollynn Zimmers who heads up the Candidate Recruitment and Support committee. The idea that the party out of office wins in the off year cycle may have been true in the past but it does not have to be true now. We do not need to support the media and others’ self-fulfilling prophecy about this. We will win if we believe we can and I do think we can. So, let’s do it!!
