Kitsap County Auditor's Election Observer Training - October 13, 2020

Wow, unprecedented numbers of residents showed up for Election Observer Training at 6:00PM on Tuesday evening. Kitsap County Auditor - Paul Andrews; the Elections Manager - David Fisk gave a detailed presentation of the well managed, multi-step, and secure manner in which our ballots are processed by Kitsap County Elections staff. Next, Paul Andrews and David Fisk answered all of our questions and then gave us a tour of the Kitsap County Elections ballot processing rooms. It is a fascinating, complex, and finely tuned operation.

The observer training was held in the Commissioner Chambers of the Kitsap County Administration Building. Chairs were spaced 6 feet apart and participants wore masks and did their best to maintain social distancing.

Kitsap County Auditor's Election - Transparent from start to finish - for anyone interested in remote observing, a camera is installed in the ballot processing room. Starting October 19, it will be live streamed on the Facebook site, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Questions about voting and the entire election process? Most of your questions are answered on the Kitsap County Auditor’s Facebook page. Well-produced videos illustrate the operations of the Kitsap County Elections Office.
